Comparing the GDPR with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law)

 - The GDPR applies to companies that are located in the European Union, regardless of whether the processing of personal data takes place or not.

- Extraterritoriality in both legislations, if the treatment has the Purpose of offering products or services to people located in that territory, the law is applicable.

- Behavior: GDPR applies to companies that are not in the EU, but they monitor behavior of people that are in the EU. The LGPD does not talk about this.
